This end facing operation is to de-burr and bevel the circumference at both ends of the welded pipe in accordance to the specification. It consists of Bed Head Console, Guiding Rail and Work Table with base plate, Turkshead
Cutter Platform, Hydraulic Clamping System, Roller Lifter System, Lubrication System, Hydraulic and Electrical Control Systems.

General
De-burr and bevel actions are carried out at both ends. Pipe is clamped firmly on the work table for ends machining. Bed Head Console coupled with turks-head cutter platform, drives the cutting inserts which revolve progressively towards both ends of the pipe to create a machining action.

Main components

Function of the above systems
Bed head console
Driven by electric motor, the Bed Head Console drives the turks-head cutter platform which in turn rotates and produces a revolving machining action.
According to the size of the pipe, the revolving speed can be adjusted from 20 - 55 rev/min.
Guiding rail and work table platform
Both Guiding rail and Work Table are fixed on the base plate. Electric motor and hydraulic motor coupled with reducers and worm gear control the feed speed, quick advance and retract movement of the turks-head cutter platform
Turkshead cutter plate & cutter inserts De-burr and bevel Cutter inserts are installed in the turks-head cutter
platform. The position of turks-head can be adjusted in accordance with the size of the pipe.
Clamping system
This is to hold the pipe firmly in position for machining. Using hydraulic cylinders, the upper clamp shoe move to clamp the pipe with the lower clamp shoe. Sizes of clamp shoes are Dia 508, 610, 720, 820, 1020, 1220, 1420,
1620, 1820, 2540, 3000 and 3200mm.
Roller lifter system
Transfer pipe to the work table, lift the pipe to the right height and position so that the clamping system can take over the clamp the pipe firmly for machining.
Lubrication system
Lubricant is sprayed during the machining process. Frequent moving parts are sprayed periodically with lubricant.
Hydraulic system
An independent hydraulic system is used to control the movement and pressure of all cylinders.
Electrical system
The electrical system is to control all operation of the machine.

Process Flow
Pipe rolls and stops at the centre of the work table.
Roller lifter lifts the pipe 50 mm above the centre axis of the machine.
Rollers are driven by motor to position the pipe for clamping. Once in position, clamping action starts.
Roller lifter and the pipe are lowered together. When the pipe touches the lower clamp shoe, the upper clamp shoe starts moving downward to carry out the clamping action at both ends of the pipe. Ancillary clamping mechanism also started to prevent deformation of pipe ends.

INSTALLATION and COMMISSIONING:
* Byard personnel would come to the customer's plant facility to install, commission and train the customer's personnel to suitable standard.
* It will take two (2) weeks to install and commission the hydrostatic tester and an additional one (1) week to train the customer's operators for the following cost.
- One (1) senior engineer at US$800.00 per day
- One (1) engineering assistant at US$550.00 per day
It will take two (2) weeks to install and commission HT and a further one (1) week to train the customer's operators.
All airfares, hotel accommodation, meals and local transport would be to the customer's account.
PAYMENT TERMS:
* Thirty-percent (30%) with the purchase order
* Thirty-percent (30) ninety (90) days after commencement of
manufacturing of the mill
* Thirty-percent (30%) after customer inspection at Byards
plant and prior to shipment
* Ten-percent (10%) after installation and commissioning at
customer plant facilities Above payments are to be secured
by Irrevocable, Confirmed and Transferable Letter of
Credit acceptable to Seller.
Delivery and Shipment:
The Builder shall complete the manufacturing of the Facing/End Beveling Machine within one-hundred-eighty (180) days from the date of receipt of the original Letter of Credit.
Shipment of the Facing/Beveling Machine is subject to the availability of shipping vessels traveling from Malasyia to customer's country. Shipment arrangements will be sourced by all parties but will be the sole responsibility of the Purchaser for execution and payment for the shipping of the Facing/Beveling Machine.
Warranty/Guarantee:
The Builder and/or the Seller warrant that the Facing/Beveling Nachine supplied shall be of good workmanship, fully meeting the specifications and design specified and shall be fit for the purposes contemplated.
The Builder and/or the Seller also warrant that the Facing/End Beveling Machine shall be free from defects under normal continuous operating conditions, excepting parts for the Facing/End Beveling Machine subject to normal wear and tear. This liability shall remain in force until the
expiration of twelve (12) months from date of final Certification(s) of Acceptance or (14) months from the date of Shipment.
Limitations, Exclusions and Disclaimers:
The Builder and/or the Seller will NOT accept responsibility for damage to the Facing/Beveling Machine and/or to the electrical controls and/or to the pneumatics system and/or to the hydraulics system and/or to the clutch/brake
mechanism resulting from the Purchaser's operator negligence. This warranty does not apply to parts subject to normal wear or consumption, such as; filters, clutch/brake linings, lube lines, electrical relays, fuses, etc.
For items supplied by the Builder and/or the Seller but which are not by them; a copy of the warranty from the supplier can be provided on on request.
This WARRANTY will be revoked in the case of failures by fittings, tooling or devices fitted by the Purchaser to the Facing/Beveling Machine that were not installed or approved by the Builder and/or the Seller.
General:
In the event heavy lifts are required to carry out repairs and/or adjustments to the Facing/Beveling Machine under the Builder's and/or the Seller's warranty at the Purchaser's plant, it will be the Purchaser's responsibility to have the Facing/Beveling Machine serviced by adequate lifting facilities at its own plant, or if necessary to arrange, at the Purchaser's expense, to provide suitable mobile lifting equipment. The Builder and/or the Seller, in no event, shall be liable for damages and/or injuries that were incurred by the Purchaser, its agents and/or emplyees, by virtue of defective material or workmanship in the articles or materials supplied.

In no event shall the Agent, the Builder and/or the Seller, their employees and/or their agents be liable for any down time or loss of production or profits.
