** The minimum flange is the narrowest flange which each machine is rated to bend on material of noted capacity and length.  Narrower flanges can be bent, but only on lighter gauge material.

STANDARD EQUIPMENT

ALL STEEL CONSTRUCTION – The massive steel frames are flame cut and welded into rigid fabrications that assure stability for the life of the machine.  The entire frame is shot peened to clean it and to minimize stresses set up during fabrication.  The massive hinges and top leaf are line bored, as are all shafts and bearing mounts.

MOTORIZED TOP ADJUSTMENT – Electromechanically, the top leaf is moved forward or backward via pushbutton controls.  The motorized top adjustment has a calibrated scale assembly mounted on the right side of the machine.  This device includes limit switches to prevent over travel during the forward and backward movement of the top leaf. The powerful gearhead top adjustment motor efficiently conveys power to actuate the top leaf forward or back. This movement accommodates changes in material thickness within the rated capacity of the machine and for variance in the bend radius on the piece part.

POWER CLAMPING – The top leaf clamping cylinders are actuated by an electro-pneumatic four way valve located behind the machine along with the airline lubricator, air pressure regulator and moisture separator.  “Inch” clamping control is standard and simplifies scribe line forming.

BENDING LEAF – Heavy duty construction of the bending leaf is designed for minimal deflection when forming capacity material. The full size steel plate includes a bolted insert bar for ease of replacement.  A removable angle bar facilitates narrow reverse bends on light gauge material.


DELUXE LIMIT SWITCH STOPS – Range of travel for the bending leaf is controlled by adjustable limit switches located on the right side of the machine.  The setting of the switches allows the operator to produce repeatable angle bends when forming multiple parts. 

CONTROL STATIONS – Dual operator control stations (master/slave) consist of a Power ON/OFF Switch, Top Clamp, Top Inch, Top Unclamp, Top Forward, Top Reverse, Apron Up, Apron Down and Stop, pushbuttons.

ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT – 7.5 H.P., 1800 RPM, open type ball bearing motor with reversing magnetic starter for operation on 220/240 or 440/480 volts (please specify), 3 phase, 60 cycles.
