TYROLIT is now offering webinars. Webinar is short for Web-based seminar, a presentation, lecture, or seminar that is transmitted over the Web. A key feature of a Webinar is its interactive elements both presenter and the audience are able to communicate in this forum. This format allows us to provide the customer with a cost-effective solution for training.
TYROLIT conducted its first webinar on Tuesday, March 31st, 2009. The webinar, Thinking Super - Superabrasive Tooling was attended by eight different companies. Instruction was provide by our Superabrasive Application Engineer, John Guenther. This technical training session followed a 50 minutes lecture period with ten minutes set aside for questions at the end. The lesson highlighted our Startec USA and Startec HP products designed specifically for the round tool industry. Additionally, we will cover our VNX2 product designed to grind multiple work pieces such as carbide, inconel, D2, and alloy steels with the same wheel.
Initial feedback from the customers who attended include comments such as the following. One company found the webinar to be very informative. Another participating firm remarked that, It was helpful, informative and well delivered. Lastly, it was stated that, The presentation was very interesting and informative. Maple Leaf Tooling will make it a goal this month to promote your product.
