Two head wide belt with a Contact Roller / Combination Head configuration for calibrating sanding and basic veneer sanding. Working width of 43”. Contact roller is a profiled steel 8” diameter roller with grit compensation. Combination head with 85 shore, profiled rubber contact roller including grit compensation and air cushion pad with anti – dubbing feature. Automatic thickness setting system with indexing control. Pressure regulation control of the air cushion pad. Hold down rollers. Motorized workpiece thickness setting via joy stick control. Millimeter and inch decimal LED thickness readout. Two speed feed system of conveyor 14 – 28 FPM. Conveyor table mounted on four heavy duty jack screws. Automatic conveyor belt tracking. Electronic belt oscillation system. Electronic motor braking system. Over thickness protection system. Safety interlocks on all access doors. In feed roller extension. Machine control voltage is 24 volt. Emergency stops at infeed and out-feed locations.
