 		The Thermal Arc Merlin PAK 15XC is a high performance plasma cutting system designed to cut most metals up to 2" (51mm), using Oxygen, Air, Argon/Hydrogen or Nitrogen as the plasma gas. The system is also capable of satisfying many gouging applications. The PAK 15XC uses the PCH/M-150 torch, which is available in either 70° or 90° hand configurations or in a machine torch style for quick mounting into any standard 1-3/8" 32° pitch rack. The PCH/M-150 utilizes a parts-in-place interlock to prevent accidental starting. The PAK 15XC, like all Thermal Arc systems, is tested as a complete system. The highly efficient switch mode design of the PAK 15XC power supply provides continuously variable output current from 50 to 150 amps, allowing the operator to choose the setting that is best for a particular application. In addition, complete CNC interface capability with features like ok-to-move, amperage reduction, corner slow down, and start/stop signals make it easy to mate the PAK 15XC with any torch motion device. The optional SC-5, high speed torch stand-off control is available for use with the Merlin.
