About Yukon Equipment, Inc. In September, 1945, only a month before the end of the War, three men bought an Alaskan outfitting business that would eventually become Yukon Equipment. With what proved to be great insight, they established a heavy-equipment business that has survived the test of time. Over the years, Yukon Equipment, formerly known as Lomen Equipment, has seen many changes take place. Alaska has evolved from a territory of unknown wilderness, to a land of opportunity. One thing that has not changed, however, is Yukon Equipment's focus on customer service. Providing sales, service and rentals of backhoe loaders, skid steers, excavators, wheel loaders, telehandlers, equipment trailers and much more equipment have helped us serve the construction and agricultural needs of Alaska.
