-Rolling Mill Head: The rolling housings are amply proportioned steel designed for solid rigidity in finished Rolling -Roll Separating Force Capacity: 330,000 lbs (150 Ton) -Rolls: The mill will be furnished with alloy steel rolls to a plain finish. The ends if the roll faces will have a 45° bevel and tapered ground aproximately 0.010'' from end of rolls. -Roll Bearings: The rolls will operate in heavy duty roller bearings and will be equipped with anti-friction thrust bearings to prevent lateral movement. -Roll Adjustment: The mill will be furnished with double outboard gear. The double outboard gear arrangement will be used for fine roll adjustment. An interlocking device is used for simultaneous or individual adjustments of the adjusting screws. The upper roll bearing boxes are held in position through raising rods which are attached to the adjusting screws. The screws are made of alloy steel with the hardened steel plates on the top of the boxes to absorb the thrust. -Screw Down: Power screw-down consisting of two electro-mechanical drives. -Pinion Gear: Specially designed alloy steel hardened gear to provide a smooth finish. Equipped with heavy duty anti-friction bearings. - Mill Drive: The mill motor will be coupled to a combination reducer and herringbone pinion stand. The reducer and pinion stand is equipped with anti-friction bearings. Drive from the reducer and pinion stand to the rolls is through universal joint couplings. -Entry & Exit Table: The entry and exit tables are fastened to the housings for alignment and are readily adjustable vertically by making screw adjustments. Table is also equipped with plain side guides and cleaning pads. -Roll Heaters: M2 Steel Alloy Hardened to 64 RC. Equipped with heating element capable of providing roll temperatures up to 572°F. Two electronically controlled microprocessor temperature controls with time proportion and cycle rate calibrated for Type K thermocouple 0-2000°F for close line control (includes Hi-Limit Safety) -Cooling: Water cooling sytem with flow control for the bearing block -Uncoiler: Uncoiler with plates, capable of handling up to 500 lbs. by 12'' Wide coils. The unit will be welded of structural steel and will include a brake system for back tension control. -Recoiler: 500 lbs. capacity x 12'' wide complete withg clutch system.
