At this time we are offering CNC controls for mills and latches complete digital systems with absolute encoders as well as analog systems. The controls we have available can perform multiple axis operations. We would like to offer several options to upgrade your existing CNC machines. We offer CNC components sold with motors, drives, and cables that you can replace existing components on an existing machine or pre-wired electrical enclosures that replace exiting control boxes. GSK has been doing retrofits on existing machines for many years and as a result, has developed the PLC information to make a very smooth transition from older electronics to a whole new generation of CNC systems. We have the earlier 980MCD-H Machining Centers and the 980TDc-H Turning Control are both analog systems and the control will work with your existing motors and drives. The new digital systems require that the motors and drives work with the newer CNC controls. We are working with a network on machine tool integrators that can provide local support for retrofits. We can also assist with the mechanical components, motor mounts, spindle rebuilds, and motion control repair ball screw and linear rails. We also can send a technician out to dial in the tool changer and tune the system after the installation of the new components. We have developed CNC systems with PLC engineering in place for the following machines. Cincinnati Arrow 500, 750, 1000, Fadal 3016, 4020, 6030, 8030, Deckle FP3A, FP4A, Mori Seiki MV-Junior Series, Okuma LB-12 and LB-15 and Ikegai FX20N and FX25N. The 988TD can control up o 10 axis and 4 spindles, each path includes 6 feed axis (including C Axis) in each path, a 3-axis link, and 3 spindles to realize the turning with compound milling operations. The servos motors use high-resolution absolute encoders that provide 0.1µm position precision, and 1ms interpolation period to perform a turning-milling compound machining and can provide the control performance for multi-axis turning and machining centers.
