Level winders from ASMAG for the coiling of copper and aluminium tubes are characterised by a high coiling speed, short set-up times and automatic adjustment of the coil width. Line speeds of up to 500 m/min are possible. The first level of the coil is wound up fully-automated without any intervention from the operator.

This has a decisive effect on the improvement of the occupational safety of the operator. The ultra-dynamic control of the system also permits exact winding of the tube product. Alternatively, the ASMAG level winders are designed as single or double spoolers and can be equipped with an automated stacking system for level wound coils.
