Time of waste for Loading / Unloading For example, even if the actual turning time is 12 seconds, if the non-turning time for such things as loading/unloading is 9 seconds, the cycle time will be 21 seconds. In this example, 9 seconds amounts to 42% of the cycle time, with the spindle not doing anything. The SHIMADA 2SI-6/8 reduces the non-turning time to two seconds by conducting loading/unloading on one spindle while the other one is machining.
