AMADA PRUL 300 III

  • Product Overview

The PR (part remover) unloader is a three-axes handling system equipped with two specially designed suction cup plates for automatic removing, sorting and stacking processed parts from punching machines (NCT).

Using suction cups enables the unloader to handle different kinds of materials such as steel, aluminum, stainless steel, copper and plastics.

Punched parts are sorted and stacked into desired stacks. The part unloader automatically removes parts from the skeleton. Stacking positions may be programmed making efficient use of stacking space.

The part unloader can be equipped with a full sheet handling system (PRUL300 III - handling both skeletons and micro-joined parts). This UL model removes skeletons and processed sheets containing micro-joined parts from the NCT. Skeletons are stacked onto a separate "scrap pallet" located at the unloader rear side, while sheets with micro-joined parts are stacked onto the part table.

The pick-up unit moves in a X direction along the main beam guided by runner blocks, and is driven by an servomotor via a cogged belt. In a Z direction, the pick-up unit moves by a ball screw driven by a servomotor.

On the pick-up unit there are two belt driven suction cup plates which move in a Y direction. Suction cup plate B is driven directly by the belt while suction cup plate A may be locked in a fixed position. It can also be locked to the belt and move simultaneously with suction cup plate B. The belt is driven by a servomotor.

Four suction cups on suction cup plate A are equipped with vacuum sensors. At least one of them must be activated while picking up parts. Otherwise, an alarm will be raised.

The part table can accommodate up to 4 pallets (31.5” x 48”). The stacking height is detected by a light curtain, which lowers the stacking table as the stacks increase, thus maintaining the desired stacking height.
