The chamfering unit, which is normally used in connection with a multiple cutting line, is used to process one or both material ends. It is characterised by a high level of flexibility in terms of the selectable chamfering forms and applicability - for example, for tubes, round rods and hexagonal rods. Another advantage: Facing and chamfering is possible on ASMAG chamfering units with just one tool.
ASMAG also offers adjustable tool heads for automatic adjustment of tools to fit the product dimensions. Another advantage of this system is the option of producing any contours you like.
