  • Product Overview

The PG-9DHD is an adaptation of the Glebar workhorse plunge grinder, the PG-9BHD. Similar in basic functional configuration as the BHD machine, the DHD is a high precision version offering slide positions and controllability not achievable for the more basic PLC driven unit.

Form grinding has been in Glebar's DNA for decades. This unique process allows a Glebar to shape any spherical or cylindrical component into unlimited forms on a large variety of materials. We can safely claim that there is not a household you can enter where you cannot find at least a component that was ground on a Glebar plunge grinder. Examples range from a very basic deodorant ball, golf balls and pen nibs to drumsticks, check valves and fuses. This highly productive method of manufacturing surpasses competing methods where cutting tools or back knifes are used. When automated, this machine is unsurpassed in productivity and performance.
