This machine has been developed for the Paper Pre-Print industry, in a width that varies from 2M to 2.8M, for paper rolls with an OD of 1500 mm or 1800 mm.
This machine has a double function; it can either slit a jumbo in 2 or more rolls, or it can function as a bi-directional doctoring machine and clean the defected printed material in the first pass, and then rewind the roll on the unwinder to obtain the original print direction.
The machine can operate at 600 m/min. in both directions.

The doctoring cycle is extremely efficient, as the machine stops and reverts automatically, bringing the beginning of the defect right on the splicing table so that the operator can clean the material and continue with the process. A waste rewinder is also available if there is a lot of web to be cleaned.
