The Power Peen is a Direct Pressure machine designed for Production applications, which are defined as those requiring one (1) or more hours of daily machine operation.
This blast cabinet requires 25 cfm of compressed air and includes a 1.0 cubic foot ASME coded Pressure Pot complete with pressure pot access port for service. The Pressure Pot is used to pneumatically push the abrasive media through the blast hose and this is why a pressure machine can produce faster abrasive velocities than the typical Siphon blast machine, which does not utilize a pressure pot. Media Blast supplies a small raised operator's platform to maintain the proper hopper slope required to feed the pot on the Power Peen models.
