  • Product Overview

The lathe plane parallel to the counter, numerical control, the CNA and SNC series is the result of a successful compromise that combines the ease of use of a traditional parallel lathe to the potential of a numerical control. It is therefore the ideal machine for the user who has to combine the production needs of both the single piece of small and medium series, as well as the employment of workers not accustomed to the use of the programming language for numerical controls. The lathe can be, in fact, used in four distinct ways:
    traditional , by the use of the leaflets to the axes X and Z;
    self-learning , by dialing the working cycle, on the basis of the design of the piece, by means of a driven program, to video, which exploits the predetermined cycles (roughing, finishing, conical turning, threading, etc.). also in this case is obtained, automatically, a repeatable program as necessary;
CNC , using ISO programming as a specific numerical control lathe.
For the exploitation of performance, such as CNC lathe, the machine can be equipped, on request, automatic devices such as:
    turrets with tool change
    self-centering hydraulic control
    chip conveyor
    TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
BASE (MONOLITHIC for SNC, legs and bench for CNA)
Legs made by means of cast iron.
The bench, in MEEHANITE cast iron, has 4 support, induction hardened and ground; the protected exterior two, they are used for the sliding of the carriage, the two internal for tailstock / bezel.
    2. HEAD
Body made of cast iron, with high characteristics of stiffness and vibration damping.
Special steel spindle, hardened, ground and mounted on tapered roller precision.
    spindle motor in cc air-cooled.
Transmission, with two ranges selectable cycle.
    3. BATTLE
The wagons, the longitudinal (Z axis) and transverse (X axis) are made of cast iron, with guides induction hardened and ground. The counter-guides are covered with anti-friction material.
Handling carts is ensured by servomotors DC coupled to ball screws, ground and preloaded nut. (DP> 5000mm. Movement in ½ double rack and pinion system & slave master engines).
    4. TAILSTOCK
    cast iron body.
Advancement sleeve, travel and lock in position manually.
    5. LUNETTA
Fixed bezel manual, both for the control of the rafts that the translation and locking in position along the pallet.
    6. LUBRICATION
loss of lubrication system for guides and ball screws, with automatic control and volumetric feeders.
Lubrication of the kinematics of the head with oil recirculation pump.
    7. BATH COLLECTION CHIP
At the base of the machine it is arranged a removable bowl, for the collection of the chips and the cooling water that, decanted, is placed in recirculation by means of a pump.
    8. ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT
The control and all the on-board wiring closet are made with first-class components and according to the regulations provided for under EC.
CNC high performance and leading international brand.
Push-button of the programming and control, electronic handwheels and video color mounted on the front sliding door, for a correct positioning by the operator.
    9. carters
To ensure the necessary safety requirements and limit the escape of chips or coolant, the machine is equipped with a casing fixed rear and two front sliding doors.
The hatchback, with the command, has a large window made with two layers: an inner scratch resistant hardened glass, easy to clean and replaceable; the other external, polycarbonate, suitably dimensioned to withstand any projection of metal parts.
The work area is adequately illuminated.
    10. HYDRAULIC CENTRAL (Option)
Made with pumps, accessories and modular valves leading brands, allows the control of the hydraulic actuators on the machine: chuck, tailstock, lunette brake.

  • About Company

The "OMG Zanoletti Srl" was founded in 1965 as a manufacturer for third parties. Its founder Attilio Zanoletti, from the strong principle of work experience Gained important companies in mechanical and driven by the ambition to "do something for her," he thinks to build a prestigious machine tool. Thus was born, in the late '60s, the first parallel lathe OMG, Which quickly established itself on the market for its high product quality and innovation of the instantaneous velocity change. Since then the lathe OMG Zanoletti is Recognized as the highest expression of quality, precision and reliability in the field. I do not pay the successes Achieved in 1978 after a brief but useful experience in the construction of hydraulic machines, combining tradition and innovative capacity, OMG Zanoletti launches new range of CNC lathes with inclined bed. Always attentive to market demands, in 1994 the OMG Zanoletti puts into production the new self-learning range of NC lathes to meet the needs of Those Who do not they have production of high numbers, but Also require high quality. from the beginning the property has Remained in the hands of Zanoletti family and is currently run by Renato and Marco Fontana Fontana, son and grandson of the founder. In 2009 OMG Zanoletti has made its entry into the world of heavy turning presenting at the EMO trade fair the first lathe to 4 guides, 20m between centers, 20 Ton capacity. In July 2010 OMG Zanoletti has acquired a historic brand of medium / heavy European machine tool: PBR Perico Baroni Raimondi founded in 1946. With this acquisition, OMG ZANOLETTI has Strengthened its presence in the field of heavy turning and continued to invest in the development of products coming to the presentation of new lathes OMG-PBR numerical control with self-learning, center height 600 and 700 mm. and 'thanks to These continuous investments That OMG-PBR is now incendio proposed to complete and technologically advanced range in the field of horizontal turning, unique in Europe, with returns ranging from Ø250mm to Ø1000mm high peaks, with peaks distances from 1.5m up to 30m and capacities up to 50 tons.
