  • Product Overview

This machine has been engineered from the ground up in the truest South Bend fashion and the results are extraordinary! Attention to detail begins with accurate, smooth ways, robust D1-5 spindle with Japanese made tapered roller bearings, extra-wide, flame hardened gears, pressurized headstock lubrication, variable spindle speeds–all supported on a massive cast iron base. It comes fully outfitted and ready for work: flood coolant system, halogen work light, spindle brake, steady and follow rests, 3-jaw & 4-jaw chucks and centers. This all adds up to a lathe that can hog out huge quantities of chips for best production rates or give extremely fine finishes (even second operations) in the most difficult materials to machine.
