Robust, cost-effective and innovative:
the twin-spindle, single-table BX 621, featuring the patented mono-wall design. Specially developed for this machining center, the mono-wall provides closed power transmission and optimum rigidity during machining. Another new feature is the split feed axes: the tools travel in the Y- and Z-directions while the workpieces travel in the X-direction. The X-axis, with integrated rotary axes, carries the clamping fixture.
SW, Schwäbische Werkzeugmaschinen GmbH, is continuing to expand nationally and internationally. 'Technology People' stands for the people representing this company. These are people who excel in and are passionate about technology – not just the machines; people who develop processes and manufacturing solutions, who build them from the ground up, and who facilitate their successful implementation. We are suppliers of solutions for demanding, workpiece-specific manufacturing systems for the metal working industry.
This commitment applies to everything from 4- and 5-axis machining to 5-axis simultaneous machining. At our technology center, machining processes are optimized, and new procedures are tested and developed to further increase the efficiency of your production. Our most defining characteristic is our impressive range of 2- and 4-spindle horizontal machining centers. Multi-spindle drill head machines complement the portfolio, as does our complete range of services pertaining to the machines and processes. Our equipment is used worldwide, particularly in the automotive and aerospace industries, in hydraulics and pneumatics manufacturing, and in many other emerging fields and markets.
