Ⅰ. Applications and Characteristics of Machine
The Bevel Gear Cutter Inspecting Machine is designed to check the axial and radial runouts of cutting blades of various type of cutters which are used for cutting the Spiral Bevel and Hypoid Gears. The inspected results shall be used as the base of precision setting of cutter blades when adjusting them on the gear cutting machine. In addition, this machine can also be used to make the cutting blades precision setting directly.
The cutter diameter of 3 ″to 18″can be checked on the machine.
In accordance with the different cutter structures, there are two types of inspecting machines, i.e. Type A and Type B.
Model JY318A is suitable for checking Type Ⅰ Cutter of Standard JB/T8359-96.
Model JY318B is suitable for checking Type Ⅱ Cutter of Standard JB/T8359-96.
Ⅱ. Main Features and Structural Characteristics of Machine.
All of the settings and drives are manual operation.
The machine has a higher structural and driving rigidity for ensuring the measurements being stable and reliable.
The measuring accuracy of machine is less than 0.002mm.
Imported higher accuracy bearings are adopted on the machine for ensuring the higher radial and axial accuracies.
Two measuring poles are used for checking axial height and radial errors of cutter blades respectively.
