The UltraMig 500 Inverter is a SYNERGIC Mig and digital welding machine which uses an inverter power source operated by a microprocessor.
100% microprocessor controlled. Provides synchronized (SYNERGIC) adjustment of the welding voltage, the welding current, gas flow, and the wire feed speed by means of a single control knob on the torch. It also controls the welding cycle in continuous, spot and stitch modes, the striking and end of the arc, and the thermal safety devices.
The wire drive system is self compensating. It comes fitted with 2 rollers which adjust automatically to wire diameters of between 0.6 and 1,2mm (.024 to .045). There is no need to adjust or remove them or to adjust the tension. It is also fitted with a wire outlet guide for 0.6 to 1.2 mm diameter steel and stainless steel.
The UltraMig 500 is equipped with a medium-duty welding torch and the necessary accessories for steel and stainless steel wire from .024” (0.6mm) to .045” (1.2mm).
