BERGONZI

Bergonzi, founded in 1947, manufactures machine tools since 1949, thus making it one of the oldest and sound Italian companies in this business.

After a short time during which tapping heads were company's production, pillar and bench type drills were introduced (1950-1960), followed in 1955 by radial drills.
Although for a while (1963-1976) knee milling machines were also produced, the radials became synonimous of the company: over 15.000 units have been built and production - even on a smaller scale - continues.
