Established in 1990, USFEN is a hi-tech industrial enterprise specializing in the manufacturing of microscopes and has become the number one manufacturer of metallographic microscopes in China.

1990—USFEN introduced a on-site metallurgical microscope.

1992—USFEN introduced an electrolytic polishing apparatus.

1996—USFEN was the first in china to develope a microscopic digital imaging devices, which allowed any digital camera to take pictures with a microscope.

1999—USFEN developed a self analysing software which rated 22 different standards.

2006—USFEN started outfitting microscopes with foreign objectives thus improving performance.

2008—USFEN designed Brinell indentation measurement system.

2010—USFEN has improved its software to automatically rate over 400 different standards.
