Institute for Information Industry

The Innovative DigiTech-Enabled Applications & Services Institute (IDEAS) at the Institute for Information Industry (III) was created with multiple goals in mind. Among these goals are:
to assist the Taiwanese government in its efforts to facilitate and create innovative new Information / Communications Technology (ICT) applications and services,
to assist local industries in their adoption and usage of these advanced technologies, and
to create innovative applications and business models based on these new technologies that will ultimately increase the value of products and services offered by Taiwanese firms, both domestically and internationally

IDEAS aims to apply a systematic approach to innovation that we call Service Experience Engineering (SEE). SEE assists local firms in their quest to develop successful new business models with the ultimate aim of transforming Taiwan into an innovation hub showcasing cutting edge applications and services to the world.
