The Ferry Machine Company was founded in 1927 in Kent, Ohio, and established a reputation as a precision machine shop. In 1982 the company name was changed to Ferry Industries, Inc., to reflect the evolution of the company to a major manufacturer in the rotational molding, foam and composite cutting industries.
