The Inlay Grooving Router features a specially ground carbide bit. The cutting angle of this bit makes it possible to move the Inlay Grooving Router away from the edge it is routing without chipping the laminate edge. The Inlay Grooving Router cuts a 3/8" groove into the laminate core substrate. This groove matches the beveled inlay strip from the Bevel Edge Slitter (#201). This unique design makes it possible to inlay laminate into flat surfaces and edges on laminated core substrate and many other materials. The Inlay Grooving Router comes assembled and preset with the Porte Cable model #7536 2.5 hp router.
