The double grooving unit of the series DNU U is the newest model of the modular series. It treats the strip surface from below. Working with two tools the grooving unit removes two layers of coating from the strip surface. The tools can be adjusted vertically and horizontally. So even deeper and/or wider grooves can be drawn into the strip surface.

The grooving machine of the series DNU U is employed when the production process is conceived in this way that the groove has to be made at the bottom side of the strip surface. As all models of the modular series, the DNU U can also be integrated easily into existing lines and retrofitted when the needs increase.
